Shopify Marketing & Optimization
We improve Shopify stores on three fronts: how shoppers find them, how product pages convert, and how customers are brought back through email, SMS, and remarketing.
Where this fits in the funnel
More qualified store traffic
Collections and product pages target terms buyers search, and clean product feeds put your items in Google Shopping and Meta catalogs with accurate data.
Higher conversion per visit
Faster pages, clearer product information, visible shipping and returns details, and a simpler cart reduce the reasons shoppers leave before paying.
Repeat purchase revenue
Welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back flows bring customers back automatically, so growth does not rely only on paying for new visitors.
What Shopify Marketing & Optimization involves
A Shopify store is easy to launch and hard to grow. The platform handles checkout and hosting well, but it will not write product pages that rank, structure your collections, set up tracking correctly, or recover abandoned carts on its own. Common problems include thin product descriptions, too many apps slowing the theme, broken conversion tracking, and no email flows beyond the defaults. Each one quietly costs sales, and none of them is fixed by spending more on ads.
We treat the store as a system. Traffic comes from search, shopping feeds, and paid social. Conversion depends on product pages, speed, trust signals, and checkout. Retention comes from email, SMS, and remarketing. We audit all three, fix the weakest first, and measure against revenue and margin, not just clicks. We work inside Shopify's limits and tell you when a goal needs a developer, a different app, or a change in offer rather than more marketing.
Deliverables you can point to
Store audit
We review theme speed, installed apps, navigation, collection structure, product page content, checkout settings, tracking accuracy, and current traffic sources, then rank fixes by impact.
Shopify SEO setup
We optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URLs, fix duplicate content from tags and variants, add structured data, and improve internal linking between collections and products.
Product page improvements
We rewrite descriptions around buyer questions, reorganize images and variant selectors, add size guides, reviews, and delivery information, and test layout changes against the current version.
Product feed management
We configure Google Merchant Center and Meta catalog feeds with correct titles, GTINs, categories, and attributes, and resolve disapprovals that keep products out of ads.
Paid campaign management
We run Google Shopping, Performance Max, and Meta campaigns structured by product margin and performance, with budgets shifted toward items that sell profitably.
Email and SMS flows
We build welcome, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post-purchase, review request, and win-back flows in Klaviyo or Shopify Email, with segmentation by purchase history.
Speed and app cleanup
We remove unused apps and leftover code, compress and lazy-load images, and review theme scripts to improve load times on mobile product pages.
Tracking and reporting
We set up GA4, ad platform pixels through Shopify's customer events, and a dashboard showing revenue, conversion rate, and return on ad spend by channel.
How the work runs
Audit the store
We get collaborator access, review analytics, theme, apps, feeds, and campaigns, and ask you about margins, best sellers, and stock constraints that should shape the plan.
Fix the foundations
We correct tracking, feed errors, and major speed or usability problems first, because later decisions depend on accurate data and a store that works properly on mobile.
Build traffic channels
We roll out SEO changes to priority collections and products, launch or restructure shopping and social campaigns, and align landing pages with what each ad promises.
Improve conversion and retention
We test product page and cart changes, launch email and SMS flows, and add remarketing audiences so visitors who leave have a reason to return.
Review and iterate
Each month we report revenue, conversion, and channel performance, explain what changed, and agree the next set of tests and fixes based on the results.

Shopify Marketing & Optimization FAQ
Is Shopify good for SEO?
It is solid, with some fixed limits. Shopify handles hosting, SSL, sitemaps, and mobile themes well. You cannot fully change the URL structure, and tags or variants can create duplicate pages if left alone. Most stores can rank well once collections are structured properly, product content is unique, and the theme is fast. The platform limits rarely block results. Thin content usually does.
Do you work with our existing theme and apps?
Usually, yes. We start by improving what you have, since a rebuild is not always needed. If the theme is outdated or heavily patched, we may recommend moving to a current Online Store 2.0 theme. We also review apps and suggest removing ones that overlap or slow the store. All changes are made in a duplicate theme and previewed first.
Which should come first: ads, SEO, or email?
It depends on your store. If tracking is broken, that comes first. If you already have traffic, conversion and email flows usually pay back fastest because they work on visitors you have. SEO takes months to build but lowers your dependence on ads. Paid campaigns bring quick data and sales if margins allow. The audit tells us the order.
Can you manage a Shopify store selling in several countries?
Yes. We set up Shopify Markets for currencies, domains or subfolders, and duties, add hreflang tags, and create separate product feeds and campaigns per country. Shipping, payment methods, and returns need to be workable in each market before advertising there. We will flag where operations, not marketing, are the limiting factor.
How much does Shopify marketing cost?
Pricing starts at $2,500 /month. Pricing is scoped per project through a custom proposal, based on the size of your catalog, which channels we manage, and how much development or creative work is involved. Ad spend is paid directly to Google and Meta, and app subscriptions such as Klaviyo are billed by those providers. We set out our fee and expected third-party costs separately.
