Ecommerce Marketing Built Around Profit, Not Just Traffic
We help online stores and retailers grow revenue through clean product feeds, shopping ads, search-friendly category pages, conversion testing, and email flows that bring customers back.
An online store lives on a simple equation: what it costs to win a customer against what that customer is worth. Rising ad costs, marketplace competition, and thin margins squeeze one side. Weak product pages, clumsy checkout, and no retention plan squeeze the other. Growth comes from working on both at once, not from pouring more budget into the top of a funnel that leaks further down.
We start with the data: product feed quality, margin by category, conversion rate by device, and how much revenue comes from returning customers. From there we fix the feed, structure shopping and search campaigns around profitability, improve category and product pages for both search engines and shoppers, and build the email and SMS flows most stores underuse. For retailers with physical stores, we connect local inventory and store listings so online research leads to in-store visits.
What makes ecommerce & retail marketing hard
Ad costs eat margin
Campaigns optimized for revenue alone push low-margin products and discount-driven orders. Sales rise while profit stays flat, and nobody notices until the accounts are reviewed.
Messy product feeds
Missing identifiers, weak titles, wrong categories, and disapproved items keep products out of shopping results. Feed problems limit every campaign built on top of them.
Thin category and product pages
Manufacturer descriptions copied across many retailers give search engines no reason to rank your page and give shoppers no reason to buy from you.
Too many one-time buyers
Many stores pay to acquire a customer and never contact them again in a structured way. The second order, where profit often sits, is left to chance.
How we approach it
Feed cleanup and enrichment
We fix disapprovals in Merchant Center, rewrite product titles around how shoppers search, complete attributes such as GTIN, color, and size, and add custom labels for margin and seasonality.
Profit-aware shopping campaigns
Shopping and Performance Max campaigns are segmented by margin tier and best sellers, with targets set on return after product cost. Branded and non-branded search are reported separately.
Category page SEO
We map keywords to categories and subcategories, write useful category copy and buying guides, fix faceted navigation crawl issues, and add product, review, and breadcrumb structured data.
Conversion testing
We review analytics and session recordings, then test product page layout, shipping and returns messaging, cart, and checkout steps. Changes are kept only when the data supports them.
Lifecycle email and SMS
We build welcome, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, and win-back flows, plus a campaign calendar. Lists are segmented by purchase history so messages stay relevant and unsubscribes stay low.

Which ecommerce platforms do you work with?
We work most often with Shopify and WooCommerce, and also with BigCommerce, Magento, and custom builds. The platform matters less than access: we need to edit templates, manage the product feed, and install tracking. If a platform limitation blocks a recommendation, we will tell you and suggest a workaround or an app.
Do you manage Amazon and other marketplaces too?
Yes. We handle listing optimization, sponsored ads, and catalog management on Amazon and other marketplaces, and we plan it alongside your own store so the channels do not undercut each other. Many brands use marketplaces for reach and their own site for margin and customer relationships. We help you decide the balance.
How do you measure success?
We agree on the numbers up front, usually revenue and contribution margin by channel, new versus returning customer revenue, conversion rate, and cost to acquire a customer. We set up analytics and server-side or enhanced conversion tracking where appropriate, so platform-reported figures can be checked against your store's actual orders.
